Farmers will now earn a full 40% grant on all of their solar PV expenditures thanks to a 20% rise in the Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme (TAMS) reference costs for solar PV investment on farms.
Farmers can also get a VAT refund based on their upfront investment in solar PV systems and allowances worth up to 100% of accelerated capital tax in the year they invest. All of these features make the solar PV system appear to be an excellent investment for farmers.
